Diego Quiros was born in Havana on June of 1962, lived in Spain for several years, and came to the U.S. by himself at age 10.  He was bewitched by the diverse cultural landscape of Miami as a child, and has been a resident of “The Magic City” ever since.

Diego enjoys reading the poetry of Jorge Luis Borges, as well as the French Symbolist Poets, he draws inspiration for his artwork from the ideals of beauty and romanticism prevalent in the Pre-Raphaelite, Symbolist, and Art-Nouveau periods. His close friends know him as “the renaissance man”.

His poetry has been published in several internet magazines, 8cho Magazine,  and in a South Florida Poets Anthology Book. Diego's own book of poems "Alchetry" is now available at Amazon and at selected independent stores in the South Florida area.

His artwork has spread through word of mouth, through local art shows, and through pieces donated to charity. He has sold pieces to private collectors, and businesses.  On June 0f 2004, several of Diego's paintings, mosaics, and stained glass panels were featured on a local PBS television station in the Miami area.
